Georgia Tech CEISMC K.I.D.S. (Kids Interested in Discovering STEAM) Club online offerings are designed for kids in the 4th and  5th grade who are interested in discovering and learning more about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math!

Fun World of Scribble-Bots

REGISTER

Engineer a robot that will scribble and draw a design on its own! Get creative with circuitry and explore electrical energy to power a motor that will vibrate your scribble bot and make unique and colorful artwork.

Supplies Requirements:

 

  • Pencil/Pens/colorful markers
  • Paper

Science of Color - Chromatography

Do you love to use bright and vibrant colored art supplies such as markers or paints? Do you ever wonder how these colors are made? Join us as we explore the science of colors.

The purchase of additional materials is required for this program which are not included in the registration fee.

Supplies Requirements

 

Materials

  • Two white coffee filters
  • White sock or cotton t-shirt
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Drawing markers (not permanent): brown, yellow and any other colors you would like to test
  • At least two pencils (one for each color you will be testing)
  • At least two tall water glasses (one for each color you will be testing), four inches or taller
  • Water
  • Two binder clips or clothespins
  • Drying rack or at least two additional tall water glasses (one for each color you will be testing)
  • Pencil or pen and paper for taking notes

 

Laptop or computer, (Windows, Mac, or Chromebook), internet access, and headphones.
