About STEAM Workshops

Is your student interested in Technology?
Do they love Engineering and Math?
Do they want to pursue a career in the STEAM fields?
If they answer yes to any of these questions or has a general interest in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Design and Mathematics) fields, then STEAM Workshop is for you!
What are STEAM Workshops?
The Georgia Tech CEISMC STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Workshops are workshops for students in 6th through 12th grade. STEAM Workshops encourage students to study and pursue a career in the STEAM fields by exposing them too many different topics of science and engineering along with technology. During each session, students participate in a variety of hands-on activities that promote creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
STEAM Workshops will be held virtually until further notice. Please check out our available workshops below!

Join us for a day in the life of an engineer where we will explore the "how", the "why's" behind the problems engineers solve and the designs they create. Have you ever wondered, "How does a boat float?" "How strong is the Peachtree St. bridge?" "How much weight can my chair hold?" "How many things can I do with a straw?" Join us as we explore these possibilities through a series of fun and exciting challenges that explain tried and true concepts used by engineers everyday.
